Land Remote Jobs (“we”, “us”) runs landremotejobs.com, a free page that collects remote AI-training and freelance openings listed by micro1, Mercor and Turing and lets you filter them and apply on those companies’ own sites. This page explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: hello@landremotejobs.com.
Who we are, plainly. We are an independent site. We are not micro1, Mercor or Turing and we do not hire you. When you click “Apply now” you leave our site and apply with that company directly. The links carry our referral code, and if you are hired through one of them the company may pay us a referral bonus. It does not change what you pay or what you are paid.
What we collect
Job-alert sign-up. If you use the sign-up form: your name, email address, country, and the specializations you tick. You choose whether to give these.
Usage data. Pages viewed, searches and filters you use, which “Apply now” buttons you click, approximate location (country/city level from your IP address), device and browser type, and referring page or ad campaign. This is collected through the analytics and advertising tags described below.
Emails you send us. If you write to hello@landremotejobs.com, we keep the message and our reply.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, passwords, ID numbers or payment details. We do not receive what you enter on micro1, Mercor or Turing.
How we use it
To email you the job alerts and follow-up messages you signed up for, including a short series of reminders after you join. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To understand which pages and roles are useful and to improve the site.
To measure and improve our advertising, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site (remarketing), where you have allowed this.
To keep the site secure and to answer your messages.
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and advertising tags
With your permission (see “Your choices” below) this site loads the following third-party tags, which set cookies or similar identifiers:
Provider
Purpose
Google Analytics 4 (Google)
Site analytics: visits, searches, clicks, sign-ups.
Google Ads (Google)
Measuring ad performance and remarketing to past visitors.
Meta Pixel (Meta)
Measuring ad performance and showing ads to past visitors on Facebook and Instagram.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn)
Measuring ad performance and audience insights on LinkedIn.
These providers may process the data for their own purposes under their own policies: Google, Meta, LinkedIn. You can also manage ad personalization in your Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn account settings.
Separately, the site stores one small item in your browser (localStorage) to remember your cookie choice.
Who else handles your data
Brevo (email service) stores your sign-up details and sends our emails.
Netlify (hosting) and Cloudflare (domain and email routing) process technical data such as IP addresses and server logs to deliver the site and our email.
The analytics and advertising providers listed above.
micro1, Mercor and Turing, but only if you click through and apply; their own privacy policies then apply.
These providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers offer.
Your choices
Cookies and ad tags: use the banner on your first visit, or change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of the home page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline. Visitors whose device appears to be in Europe are asked before any advertising or analytics tag is allowed to run.
Emails: click “unsubscribe” in any email, or write to us.
Your data: you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the sign-up data we hold about you, and to stop using it for marketing, by emailing hello@landremotejobs.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR, or laws in India, Nigeria, Kenya, the Philippines or Vietnam) you may have additional rights, including complaining to your local data-protection authority.
How long we keep it
Sign-up details are kept while you stay subscribed and are deleted when you ask us to or within a reasonable time after you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our analytics account (Google Analytics allows 2 to 14 months). Emails to us are kept as long as needed to handle your request.
Children
This site is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date. For material changes affecting email subscribers we will also tell you by email.
