About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.

Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Management Consulting, Public Policy, or Political Analysis to design, evaluate, and calibrate high-fidelity strategic problem sets, policy briefs, and gold-standard evaluation benchmarks.

This single role accommodates specialized contributors across two primary disciplines: Management Consulting & Corporate Strategy and Political Science & Public Policy Analysis. Candidates will be placed in either an Expert Contributor (mid-level) or Senior Specialist / Reviewer (senior-level) track based on domain depth, years of experience, and prior experience conducting peer calibration and quality reviews.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–15+ years of demonstrable professional experience in top-tier management consulting firms, corporate strategy pods, policy think tanks, government affairs units, or multilateral institutions.

  • Methodological Rigor: Deep command of qualitative and quantitative synthesis, structured analytical thinking, policy impact modeling, and scenario evaluation.

  • Education & Credentials: Advanced degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) in Business Administration (MBA), Public Policy (MPP/MPA), International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Analytical Precision: Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to identify logical flaws, biased inferences, ungrounded strategic assumptions, or misinterpretations of policy mechanisms.

  • Communication: Exceptional written communication and documentation skills, with proven capability in writing concise executive briefs, whitepapers, and objective rubric evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Benchmark Task Authoring: Design realistic, complex workplace scenarios—such as market entry frameworks, operational turnaround proposals, geopolitical impact assessments, regulatory analysis memos, and statutory risk models—complete with gold-standard solution sets.

  • Rubric Adherence & Scoring: Apply evaluation rubrics defined by the Functional SME Lead to rigorously audit, score, and critique qualitative frameworks, logical structuring, and data-backed recommendations.

  • Review & Quality Calibration (Senior Level): Audit, review, and calibrate submissions from pod members to enforce high quality, resolve strategic or policy edge cases, and escalate rubric ambiguities with actionable recommendations.

  • Iterative Refinement: Incorporate structured calibration feedback and peer critiques across sprint cycles to continuously maintain high technical and analytical accuracy.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
  • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.

Offer Details:

  • Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and upto 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
  • Engagement type: Contractor
  • Engagement Length:  12 weeks

Evaluation Process -

  • Applicants needs to submit Job Interest Form & complete the assessment.
  • Final selected candidates will be contacted with the next steps and onboarding requirements.
