Job Title: Legal Recruiter – Referral Partnership
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This is a referral partnership; success fee of $1,000–$5,000 per placement, set per role before sourcing begins.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage top-tier attorneys, in-house counsel, and paralegals for paid part-time, remote roles training and evaluating AI systems for our customer’s team
• Generate and cultivate professional referrals within your legal network
• Screen candidates for bar verification, practice-area fit, and contract suitability
• Facilitate communication between candidates and the customer’s team, ensuring a seamless process
• Document all recruitment activities and maintain detailed candidate records
• Share market insights and candidate trends to inform sourcing strategy
• Work independently within agreed requirements while upholding all legal and ethical standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in legal recruiting, lateral search, or attorney/headhunter sourcing
• Proven ability to conduct Boolean sourcing, candidate screening, and bar verification
• In-depth knowledge of multiple legal practice areas
• Strong networking skills and established legal/professional network
• Experience in contract staffing and confidentiality management
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage candidate pipelines independently
• Commitment to upholding professional integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience sourcing hard-to-find legal profiles (e.g., energy regulatory, patent, immigration, IHL attorneys)
• Ability to generate qualified referrals and work as a partner
• May concurrently serve other clients (no exclusivity required)
This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment position. There are no fixed working hours or guaranteed volume of assignments. Contractors are responsible for their own business expenses and applicable taxes.
